QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelors degree or a professional degree is preferred. A minimum of two to three years of professional sales experience in hospice, home health or healthcare sales is required. A minimum of two years of college or secondary education required. Excellent communication skills, observation skills, and public relations skills. Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. A valid driver’s license and a working automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and is in good working order.

MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate appropriate referrals to Golden Rule Hospice from current and new customers within territory. Establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with all referral sources, including physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health companies, and hospitals. Ensure daily marketing targets are met. Ensure weekly admission targets are met. Work with Administration to continually think of creative ways to increase referrals and admissions. Participates in professional organizations in the community. Implement and maintain good ‘sales habits’, including efficient time and territory management. Become familiar with the Medicare hospice benefit. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive team, patient, and referral information. Provide educational in-services to accounts on a regular basis. Provide required reports in a timely manner
