As an approved vendor at this target hospital, we provide you with direct access to key contacts and stakeholder information from day one. This role is a 1099 independent contractor position
- a commission-driven opportunity with a monthly retainer
- offering significant earning potential for the right candidate. You’ll earn a generous 20% commission on all orders (uncapped) along with a monthly retainer of $400
- 600 (based on activity).

Role Responsibilities & Expectations Drive Sales Growth:
Manage and grow sales within the target hospital account by promoting our full catalog of disposable medical supplies. Develop strategies to increase order volume and product penetration in the account.
Regular On-Site Engagement:
Meet with key decision-makers at the hospital (including department heads, purchasing managers, and other stakeholders) at least once a week on-site. You will build and maintain strong relationships to drive new sales and ensure steady order flow.
Account Development:
Leverage the provided contacts and stakeholder information to identify new opportunities across multiple departments. Nurture relationships with various units (e.g. surgery, ER, ICU, labs, etc.), positioning our products as solutions for each department’s needs.
Product Promotion:
Educate hospital staff and procurement teams on the features and benefits of our disposable supply products. Demonstrate how our broad product range can meet their needs , and proactively introduce new products to generate interest and demand.
Customer Satisfaction:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the hospital account, ensuring excellent service. Quickly address any issues or questions to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strengthen our vendor relationship. Preferred Qualifications (Ideal Candidate)
Proven Experience:
3+ years of successful medical sales experience , preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Experience with medical disposable supplies or similar product lines is a plus.
Hospital Relationships:
Existing relationships with hospital decision-makers or purchasing managers in North Carolina (especially in Durham) are highly desirable. A robust network in the local healthcare industry will help you excel in this role.
Track Record of Success:
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing accounts. You should be able to show tangible results from past roles, especially in driving new business within hospital accounts.
Self-Motivated & Independent:
A self-starter who excels in an autonomous environment. As a 1099 contractor, you must be disciplined in managing your schedule, setting up meetings, and pursuing leads without daily supervision.
Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills . You should be adept at engaging with healthcare professionals and administrators, conducting product presentations, and negotiating deals.
Local Presence:
Based in Durham North Carolina (or within a reasonable distance). You need to be able to be on-site at the hospital weekly and readily available to attend in-person meetings or address account needs in a timely manner.
