Physician Liaison/Outside Marketer 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars Freehold, NJ Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physician Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between our healthcare organization and referring physicians, chiropractors, law firms ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This primary role of this position is to drive growth of our practice by establishing and maintaining strong referral relationships with other professionals in the domain of general health spinal injuries/issues, work and auto related bodily injuries needing the expertise of our spine surgeons, pain management and general orthopedics. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, can work independently, propose and execute a strategy to accomplish the goals of the practice. A background in previous medical sales, MRI facility liaison, law firm liaison, pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable. The candidate should be well versed in networking, relationship building, attending and designing marketing events, high levels of interpersonal skills, communication skills, team building and problem solving. The role involves significant field-based travel and requires flexibility to attend after hours engagements. The position has a base salary of $60,000/yr with competitive bonus and commission structure dependent upon specific metrics and performance. Mileage, gas, tolls and other pre-approved travel expenses will be compensated with provided receipts for reimbursement. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to increase patient referrals from physicians, chiropractors, physical therapist, law firms, MRI facilities and other professionals. Travel throughout Central and Northern New Jersey to visit and build relationships with above mentioned. Educate physicians about our clinical offerings, including specialties such as minimally invasive spinal surgery, general orthopedics and interventional pain management. Act as a primary point of contact for referring practices, ensuring a seamless and postive referral experience. Identify new referral sources and opportunities for growth. Organize and attend after-hours events, including dinner meeting and presentations, to foster relationships. Track and report on marketing activities, referral metrics, and territory performance. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient referrals and follow-up processes. Conduct presentations and informational sessions to highlight the benefits of our services in areas like minimally invasive spine surgery, artificial disc replacement and general orthopedics. Gather feedback from referring physicians and law firms to improve service delivery and address any concerns. Maintain accurate records of interactions with healthcare providers and law firms in the medical records system. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in medical practices to effectively communicate relevant information to physicians. Maintain a professional and positive image of the practice at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales, medical sales, or pharmaceutical sales is highly preferred. Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a liaison or similar role. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records. Ability to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player. Must have reliabe vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
