Highly Preferred Position Purpose:
TheHealth Benefit Representative (HBR) sells Fidelis Care products andservices by first identifying membership growth opportunities in anassigned territory and then meeting or exceeding production goalsby enrolling individuals in the appropriate Fidelis Care product.
The HBR fully and thoroughly understands and is able to effectivelyexplain, communicate, recommend and enroll individuals into thebest product for their unique needs. In-depth knowledge of allFidelis Care products, including “metal” products offered throughthe New York State of Health (NYSOH), Medicaid Managed Care, ChildHealth Plus, Medicare, MLTC, FIDA and HARP. Ability to answerproduct feature and benefit questions; compare and contrast FidelisCare products and provider network of competing plans in assignedterritory.
- The HBR interacts directly with individuals, firstconducting a needs based analysis to better understand andrecommend the best product for their unique needs. They educateindividuals on healthy lifestyles, preventive care services andassist them through each step of the application and enrollmentprocess.
- This position may represent Fidelis Care at variouscommunity events, marketing sites, and in an individual’s home. Byvirtue of understanding and serving the individual’s needs, theygenerate referrals from the individuals they have assisted forother individuals that may benefit from one of Fidelis Care’sproducts.
- The successful HBR also builds and establishesrelationships within the community in order to find newopportunities and sites in their assigned territory. The HBR mayroutinely deliver presentations in order to educate and promoteFidelis Care products. This includes presentations to individuals,groups, providers, community based organizations and localbusinesses leaders.
- The HBR thoroughly and completely understandsand regularly uses the Sales Force CRM as an activity tracking andlead/referral tracking tool, to manage appointments and follow up,manage their calendar and report on activity to their management.
They also are fluent and can articulate the QCMI program, areknowledgeable of the provider networks in their territory and havea working knowledge of Fidelis Care’s care management approach.
Field Based Community Position for Dutchess County, NY andDutchess/Ulster 75% Field based travel and 25% Office/Hub HighlyPreferred Bilingual Spanish Marketing Rep Experience ExperiencedFacilitator Enroller Health Care experience a plus
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GED, required. 2 to 5years prior experience in managed care, sales, customer service orrelated experience preferred. Basic computer skills. Driver’sLicense may be required by some plans. Specific language skills maybe required by some plans.
Pay Range:
$22.79
