Job Summary (Primary function) The DermatologyTherapeutic Specialist will focus on consistently achieving orexceeding revenue targets for the U.S. Incyte Dermatology businessunit. The Dermatology Therapeutic Specialist will be the primarycustomer contact and will play a critical role in driving demandand successfully launching future medications within thedermatology specialty and other key segments. Keys to success willbe scientific or biologic product experience, strong salesbackground, relationships and knowledge of the different segmentswithin the dermatology specialty, and the ability to executenational level strategies around the new launch platforms tomaximize business opportunities. Essential Functions of the Job(Key responsibilities) Consistently achieve or exceed revenuetargets. Consistently engage customers, through in-personinteractions in their offices or virtually (on occasion) asrequested or required by a customer, within assigned geography,deliver scientific and clinically targeted messages to launch andgrow current and future brands. Collaborate and coordinate withother field-based stakeholders in the territory and region toproactively address customer needs, identify market dynamics, anddevelop strategies to ensure optimal success. Create, develop andexecute a strategic business plan that coordinates efforts withregional counterparts that reflects in-depth local market andaccount specific knowledge. Develop and maintain strong diseasestate knowledge and exemplary selling skills. Demonstrate andcommunicate in-depth knowledge of the clinical data for Incyte’sproducts to external stakeholders. Execute on national levelstrategies, deliver branded and disease state sales messages, andplanned promotional programs. Provide exceptional customer servicethrough total account management, including product access,reimbursement and on-label medical questions. Provide feedback onmarketing tools, tactics and effectiveness of sales activities.

Represent in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, workexperience, and competency) Bachelor’s degree required. 5 years ofsuccessful biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably inimmunology or dermatology. Results oriented with a history ofproven successful sales performance documented in annual reviews. Adrive to achieve and operate with a high degree of integrity withincompliance guidelines. Documented history of successful productlaunches in a highly competitive market. Demonstrated ability togain consistent access and develop strong professionalrelationships with providers. The ability to work effectively incollaboration with team members in order to achieve a common goal.

Work effectively in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Strong knowledge of dermatology patient access programs, marketaccess, specialty pharmacies and prior authorization pull-throughinitiatives. Strong business planning acumen, highly organized withstrong account management skills. Effective communication skills.

Valid Drivers License and an acceptable driving record. The abilityto travel is required utilizing all modes of transportation asnecessary (car, air, train, etc.). The level and frequency oftravel, including overnights, will depend on the specific territoryand/or business purpose or need.
