Basic Function:
Price Baggage and Cargo merchandise from several different areas within Operations in an organized and timely manner
General Responsibilities :
Responsible for acquiring and applying knowledge of current retail prices of consumer goods in all categories. These categories include Apparel, Electronics, Sporting Goods, Etc Product, Miscellaneous Accessories, Shoes, Handbags, Suitcases, Textiles, Eyewear, Books, Toys, and other miscellaneous categories. Price Baggage and Cargo merchandise utilizing retail knowledge, Liberty 4 Consignment data, spreadsheets, internet access, catalogs, manifests, etc. Using Liberty Program, enter appropriate data and price for all merchandise Maintain knowledge of Liberty program Maintain knowledge of current vendor and merchandise codes Maintain knowledge of current price points Maintain knowledge of Category Codes Apparel Communicate closely and professionally with Pricing Distribution to correct any errors Tag 1st garment with printed tags Initial tag for Pricing Distribution Turn hangers to alert Pricing Distribution of any sorting mistakes Low Value (LVL) Non•Apparel Unload merchandise from containers and efficiently load table Using Liberty Program, enter appropriate data and price for all merchandise Tag merchandise with appropriate price tag Apply appropriate security tags to all merchandise over a specific price point Place tagged items in appropriate bins for distribution to retail channels Correctly enter data on the shared Retail Product Request Excel Form as needed Utilize computer and excel program skills to assist with pricing processes High Value (HVL) Electronics Process HVL loads from airlines to prepare items for eClearing, maintaining correct load information Correctly enter data on the shared Retail Product Request Excel Form as needed Utilize computer and excel program skills to assist with pricing processes Distribute Priced HVL Items to proper channels Maintain paperwork for high value airline product processed and turn in within specified time frames Counterfeits Work directly with Pricing Supervisor and Pricing Manager to identify counterfeit merchandise Discard Counterfeit merchandise in an appropriate manner Use management’s resources, online training guides, and catalogs to develop skill in identifying counterfeits Maintain efficient flow of priced merchandise Quality Control•Be able to determine what needs to be priced or sent to other avenues Keep work area clean and organized using LEAN and 5S standards Assist, have meetings, and communicate with retail floor as needed Cross train in other pricing areas Other duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
Be able to sit or stand for extended lengths of time Must be able to work on computer for extended periods of time Must be able to lift light to moderately weighted items regularly
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Computer and typing skills necessary
Scheduled Hours:
40 hour week, 6:00am•2:30pm Mon-Fri with mandatory overtime as needed Mandatory Days include: Fridays preceding Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Winter Event; Saturday before Thanksgiving; business day before Fourth of July. Will be required to work one holiday a year on the
