The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our ice merchandisers that are located at various customer locations. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on Ice merchandisers ensuring optimal performance. Service Calls troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and other ice box issues as they arise. Performing on-site cosmetic work to the merchandisers as needed Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, spare parts inventory levels, equipment status, and ice merchandiser inventory levels. swapping compressors (we can train for this, but nothing is over 3/4 hp, very entry level) fan motors, 3-in-1 starts, thermostats, evaporator repairs door and hasp repairs, springs, box headers, defrost timers, wiring harnesses, whatever a broken icebox may need! ability to lift at least 50lbs Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks. Provide exceptional communication, and service to all customers Experience EPA Type 1 Certification preferred but not required. We will train you and help you obtain one. Previous experience in a maintenance role or related field is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong customer service orientation, ensuring positive interactions with all stakeholders. Requirements Valid Class D drivers license with no restrictions Good driving record no citations or tickets in past 5 years (we will check ) No at fault crashes / accidents in past 5 years (we will check) Must be insurable at normal rates without conditions (we will check) Ability to pass pre-employment federal DOT drug screen No Felonies in the past 7 years No DUI in the past 7 years Must be at least 21 years old Reliable transportation to and from work City Ice Inc is a family owned and operated company that’s been in business for over 50 years.
