We are seeking a Merchandising Operations Specialist on the Catalog Systems team. Catalog Systems sits within the larger Merchandising Systems & Services team (MSS), which is responsible for creating the systems, services, and process infrastructure for all business operations. The team’s mission is to be the backbone for Business/Category teams, helping win long-term customer trust, business growth, and profitability. We own the Pricing, Catalog/Content, and Vendor Systems & Services that have automation, product, program, and operational components.
The ideal candidate will provide a strong mix of information systems and merchandising business process knowledge including data analysis, functional knowledge of catalog and/or ERP systems, and technical knowledge of underlying system data structures and processes. The ideal candidate is innovative, detail-oriented, driven and demonstrates a high degree of ownership in all they do. This skill set will be applied to item-level data across the catalog, ensuring accuracy and completeness, ultimately influencing the customer experience.
What You’ll Do
New Item Setup:
Add new items to systems inclusive of communicating with brand partners to secure best in class content, performing careful quality analysis, importing data and digital assets, auditing for webpage content and completeness, etc.
Review assigned SKUs through a structured process:
View SKU on site
Identify images in Bynder which are on site
Tag images with appropriate metadata for image type
Republish the images
Differentiate images by nuanced types from a pre-defined list
Synthesize large quantities of complex data into usable/actionable information
Support ad hoc projects and initiatives involving Catalog systems and processes
What You’ll Need
BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance or similar
1-3 years of experience in a computer-driven corporate environment
Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft suite products, particularly Excel
Strong attention to detail for managing product information accuracy
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Strong communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
Bonus Qualifications
Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
Prior experience with ERP systems
Prior experience with digital asset management systems (like Bynder)
E-commerce background is a plus

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $19 to $22 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
