$24.3K – $32.3K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description The Macon Mayhem professional hockey team, proud members of the Southern Professional Hockey League, are seeking a passionate and qualified candidate for the position of Community Relations & Merchandising Coordinator. The Community Relations & Merchandising Coordinator’s role is responsible for coordinating all community events and activities for the staff, players, and mascot, as well as overseeing merchandising management and selling for the team. Qualifications and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, as candidates will be expected to fulfill a number of roles: Organizing and managing community events and appearances, such as youth clinics, fundraisers, and fan engagement activities. Assisting in the facilitation of player/mascot appearances around Middle Georgia. Assist the Vice President of Merchandising in managing orders and incoming inventory from third-party vendors Tag, inventory, fold, and organize new and existing retail items Prepare incoming merchandise orders for customers accurately and in a timely manner Find, address and solve merchandise related issues Manage, train and work alongside staff/interns assisting with merchandise on all Mayhem game days and other events as assigned. Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
