As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include: Create and display a variety of outdoor plants Create and maintain product displays Water all plant materials Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed Ensure proper signage is in place Maintain a safe and clean display area Remove and record expired plant material Interacting with store personnel and customers Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates Complete report for each store serviced Document every visit using the Repsly app where available As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to: Have a smart phone Work outdoors in all elements Have dependable transportation Have a valid driver’s license Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repetitively Understand and execute planograms Use workplace mobile apps Our ideal candidates will demonstrate the following: Strong communication skills Highly organized Detail Oriented Creative Responsible, reliable and dependable work habits Self-starter / Self-motivated Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision Previous merchandiser experience appreciated – will train strong candidates
