Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the internal solution minded thought leadership, representing merchandising on enterprise and support partnership initiatives that impact merchants, assisting the overall delivery of improved execution through merchandising.
- Lead and manage resources, as well as portfolio of projects while providing support for the merchandising organization to include defining, measuring, analyzing, improving, and conducting control analytics.
- Develops and evolves strategic direction of Merchandising Support capabilities with core mission to protect the bandwidth of the Merchandising organization by allowing Merchants to focus on their Key Objectives through process simplification, improved communication, and reporting consistency.
- Facilitate collaborative discussion on merchandising alternatives to determine best practices which meet the required goal and objectives most efficiently and pursue technological solutions to simplify execution and increase consistency throughout all merchandising initiatives.
- Demonstrates continuous learning and maintains a highly skilled and engaged workforce by aligning resource plans with business objectives; removing obstacles that impact performance; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; motivating teams; preparing individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; staying current with industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices; providing guidance when complex decisions need to be made.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Operations or related field
- 10 Years Relevant experience
- 8 Years Experience in Retail, operations or home improvement
