Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Golf Shop Associate to join our team. This individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to members and guests while supporting daily Golf Shop operations. Ideal candidates will possess strong attention to detail, a flair for merchandising, and a working knowledge of marketing and social media to help promote our offerings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and assist members and guests in a professional, courteous manner Handle check-ins, tee time reservations, and retail sales Provide product knowledge and golf-related advice as needed
Organization & Daily Operations:
Maintain a clean and organized Golf Shop environment Assist with inventory management, including receiving and tagging merchandise
Merchandising:
Ensure merchandise displays are visually appealing, well-stocked, and seasonally relevant Rotate inventory and create attractive product presentations Support the planning and execution of retail promotions and sales
Marketing & Social Media:
Assist in creating engaging content to promote Golf Shop merchandise, events, and club activities on various social media platforms Help develop and distribute digital or print marketing materials (e.g., flyers, email blasts, Instagram posts) Monitor social media trends to keep our presence fresh and relevant
Qualifications:
General golf knowledge and experience is highly preferred, but not required Previous retail, customer service, or golf shop experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer programs Creative mindset with an interest in marketing and social media Willingness to learn about golf products, club operations, and industry best practices
