We are looking to contract a Retail Merchandiser to service multiple locations throughout the Carolinas! Merchandisers help to drive sales and customer experience by ensuring the latest products are on shelves, stores are kept in stock and set to planogram. As a merchandiser, you are responsible for servicing stores in the field and supporting retailer dedicated programs. Your role will involve store management, supervising, and effective communication with store personnel. This is a part-time 1099 opportunity offering a flexible work schedule. Compensation is determined by visit frequency and the project to be completed. Projected regular in-store visit time is 30-60 minutes.

• 8 retail store locations total: within the Charlotte Metro Area including SC

• Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure our section in the store is set to planogram.
• Introduce new products into sets and re-merchandise existing products.
• Maintains inventory by restocking shelves and submitting replenishment orders.
• Adjust and clean shelves.
• Collaborate with store management to address any issues or concerns.
• Hang and/or replace tags.
• Maintain customer relationships by visiting with store managers, department managers, and employees, informing them about our programs and answering their questions.

Job Requirements:

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND THE ABILITY TO COMMUTE TO THE OUTLYING STORE LOCATIONS.

• Computer and internet access.
• Smartphone with ability to download our merchandising app, to take and upload pictures.
• PDF Reader.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Punctual, dependable, self-motivated, a quick leaner that works well in a team setting, as well as independently.
• High school diploma/GED required. (Continuing education towards a degree preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in merchandising and/or retail and planogram knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with store personnel and office teammates.
• Ability to read and interpret planograms and schematics for accurate product placement.
• Proficiency in stock management to ensure adequate inventory levels for individual locations.
• Sales-oriented mindset to drive product visibility and increase sales.
