Merchandiser (Ahoskie, Murfreesboro, Windsor area) OBX Beverage Company Elizabeth City, NC 27907 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are well-presented and accessible in retail environments. You will work closely with our Merchandiser Management and staff to implement effective merchandising strategies that enhance sales and improve customer experience. Your keen eye for visual design and understanding of market trends will be essential in driving product visibility and customer engagement. Responsibilities Develop and maintain attractive product displays that align with company standards and marketing strategies. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure product availability. Collaborate with store management to execute promotional campaigns effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly. Conduct regular walks of store layouts to keep displays filled for maximum visibility. Fill up cold boxes, warm shelves, and displays with our product from the backroom. Keep our space in back room neat and organized. Put up deliveries as needed in the grocery stores. Skills Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Proficiency in retail math to analyze sales performance and inventory levels. Creative visual design skills to create appealing product displays. Knowledge of stock management practices to ensure optimal inventory levels. Cash handling experience with a focus on accuracy and accountability. Proven sales skills with the ability to drive revenue through effective merchandising strategies.
