SUMMARY:

The Product Coordinator supports the Soffe Product Development & Merchandising team by managing product lifecycle processes, maintaining product and sample data, and collaborating across departments and with external partners. This role is essential in ensuring product timelines are met and that internal and external stakeholders are aligned throughout the development process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and ensure adherence to product development calendar deliverables.
Participate in and support weekly product development and TRAK meetings.
Monitor development across packaging, fabric, and color; manage the receipt, organization, and tracking of submitted samples.
Manage Pre-Production (Pre Pro) and Top of Production (TOP) sample approvals, including measurements.
Manage creation and maintenance of Development and Style Numbers in PLM; update technical packages and set up new programs, developments, and sample requests as needed.
Coordinate with Purchasing to create and maintain garment label components in PLM; develop Variable Information Sheets (VIS) and ensure accuracy through cross-functional collaboration.
Facilitate product development by coordinating with internal stakeholders and overseas factories; track and distribute samples and gather team feedback to relay to factories.
Submit approved color standards to factories and manage the review process for lab dips and visual color submissions, including commenting and documentation.
Assign NRF color and size codes; create and maintain color cards.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of product features and benefits.
Request mockup packaging materials as needed for presentation samples.
Maintain and organize sample closets.
Support internal and external line reviews and photoshoot needs.
Manage sample orders for sales, photoshoots, and buyer ads; coordinate photo asset needs by submitting DARFs and labeling samples with UPCs; update the Digital team on new styles and colors for seamless Salsify integration.
Support Sales by providing product samples and detailed product information.
Perform competitive analysis on pricing and styles.
Maintain and update the Seasonal Transition Sheet and ensure communication with stakeholders, including SKU/line sheet documentation.
Track and submit Berry Amendment forms as required.
Fast-paced office environment.
Primary location Mt. Airy with some travel to Winston-Salem.
Qualifications

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and communication skills.
Experience with PLM systems and product development software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with garment construction, fabric, color theory, and packaging standards is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with overseas partners.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in product development or merchandising support.
