A day in the life of a Footwear Merchant at Timberland looks a little like this. You will be a key member of the Americas Regional Merchandising team focused on driving the total Footwear business in the Wholesale channel across the Americas. You will work closely with several cross-functional departments including the Global Merchandising, Regional Planning, Regional Marketing, and Regional Commercial teams to bring curated Footwear assortments for our most important key wholesale accounts to life in the Americas marketplace. You will report to the Sr. Merchandising Manager for Footwear in the Americas. Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Partner with the Senior Manager of Footwear to develop and manage regional line architecture and assortment strategies, inclusive of franchise and lifecycle management. Create curated Wholesale assortments that will enable regional commercial execution and align to brand and market objectives. Act as primary contact to Key Account Regional Planning teams in executing financial plans. Partner with Senior Manager to craft and execute marketplace strategy for Wholesale that ties to the long-term merchandise financial plans. This will include providing input on product briefs in alignment with Global Merchandising that will drive the strategy. Support Senior Manager in preparing for and presenting at each internal seasonal GTM milestone. Gain alignment on strategy and assortment execution from key regional stakeholders through relevant data extraction, strong influencing, and effective communication skills. Ensure curated assortments come to life in key accounts. Support Senior Manager in preparing for and presenting at external key account meetings. Effective in-season management of marketplace strategy. Work with Regional Planning counterparts to deliver financial targets and make final promotion and markdown decisions in alignment with global guidelines. Constantly monitor consumer demand trends, using insights to shape planning and assortment decisions. Execute ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support seasonal product assortment decision-making. What do you need to succeed? We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3-5 years of experience and professional achievements in Merchandising or Buying. The foundation skills you will need in this position are: The ability to work within a high-functioning, dynamic environment in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional role, both independently and as a collaborative team player. You enjoy problem-solving, learning through doing, and approaching tasks with a “can-do,” positive attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and Excel is necessary Effective communication skills, both oral and written Strong presentation skills The ability to effectively interpret data, understand KPIs, and make decisions and communicate using your analysis Focus and high attention to detail There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred. Hiring Range:

$68,000.00 USD – $85,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential:
