Description Special Projects Travel Team
Dietz & Watson is looking for energetic and highly motivated individuals to join our Special Projects Travel Team. Team members must be forward thinking, problem solvers, proven multi-taskers, must possess good communication skills, work compatibly with fellow team members, and most importantly represent Dietz & Watson professionally at all times.

The duties of the Special Projects Travel Team Member are listed below but not limited to the listed duties:
Transport event equipment and refrigerated cases to various tradeshows, presentations, and marketing events locally & nationally
Setup and breakdown of deli cases and refrigerated displays at various venues
Assemble necessary equipment to use in the setting of cases.
Merchandising of refrigerated products in various types of cases and displays.
Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale (POS) in stores and events.
Create visual product displays that showcase Dietz & Watson products.
Promote Dietz & Watson products at food shows, presentations, and marketing events.
Assist with product rollouts and the merchandising of deli cases in grocery stores as needed
Assist with promotional events as needed
Properly store and maintain event equipment and refrigerated cases
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Ability to professionally communicate with upper management and customers at events
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Flexibility and ability to travel extensively (including flying) as needed sometimes up to 65% of the time.
Be able to drive a club cab style pick- up truck (with refrigerated cooler in truck bed) with a 25′ show trailer in tow. No CDL is required, Dietz will provide training.
Able to pass physical exam to obtain DOT medical card
Must be able to spend time away from home for up to a week or two at a time, as needed.
Must be able to read and write English
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must Possess either a REAL ID or

PASSPORT

Must have computer/tablet and smartphone skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email, GPS, Android Apps).
Be able to work long shifts either driving or working an event.
High school diploma or equivalence
1-2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred. Previous deli or foodservice experience a plus.
Must pass test to obtain the Servsafe Food Handling Safety Certification (Dietz & Watson will provide training and testing for this)

Use of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, razor knives, etc.
Must be able to work in a safety sensitive position
