Description:

M.S. Walker (Rhode Island) is hiring for a new Merchandiser for the Northern Rhode Island area! The Merchandiser position offers an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in learning the wine and spirts industry, while getting excellent exposure to sales, operations and client relationship management. What You’ll Be Doing:

The Merchandiser is a critical member of both our Rhode Island operations AND sales teams. Working hand-in-hand with the Corporate Merchandising Director and Sales Representative, the assistance ensures that our products make it from the trucks to the retail floors. You make product displays come to life by ensuring proper placement, replenishing, and communicating regularly with our on-site clients to ensure that M.S. Walker and our brands are represented well. Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately Places proper point-of-sale materials on merchandise items in-store Communicate with Corporate Merchandising Director to implement displays Construct or assemble prefabricated display properties from wood, fabric, glass, paper, and plastic Report to management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

What You Bring to the

Role:

Outstanding communication skills Motivation, independence, and eagerness to learn Demonstrated strong decision-making, customer service and relationship management skills Experience with retail operations and visual displays preferred Knowledge of wine and spirits helpful Ability to lift and move product of up to 45lbs regularly Minimum of High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Current and valid

Driver’s License Additional Details:

Frequent driving within assigned territory required Company vehicle and gas card and/or reimbursement provided Eligible for incentive earnings
