Are you passionate about food, cheese, charcuterie and events ? Our Product Sampling /Selling Events position presents & samples Boar’s Head Brand delicatessen products to consumers in local retail stores throughout Savannah and the Lowcountry.
Job Description:
Essential Functions Sample and promote Boar’s Head Brand premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers & educating consumers on flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary products. Possess a positive, energetic, and serving attitude Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned Deli background a plus! Minimum Requirements Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Experience with food preparation/catering Keep work area neat and clean; exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices at all times Ability to operate a slicer ( will provide training ) Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations within assigned area throughout Savannah, Bluffton, Beaufort and Hilton Head. Ability to transport and set up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.; push or pull objects up to 50 lbs. Working Conditions Ability to work in a refrigerated/freezer environment Must have an internet-enabled cell phone The ability to work independently visiting various retail locations within 35 miles of your home.
