My Sister’s Cottage was created with a purpose. The mission of this local boutique is to establish one safe house, or cottage, for women escaping human trafficking with every store created nationwide. 10% of all My Sister’s Cottage profits are donated to local emergency shelters supporting survivors of human trafficking. This Charleston boutique has been operating in our King Street location since July 2022. My Sister’s Cottage is an inclusive store that firmly holds the belief that everyone is embraced by God’s love no matter their background or beliefs. Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to bring our brand story to life through compelling in-store displays and visual presentations. This role is responsible for conceptualizing and executing product arrangements that enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, understands seasonal retail cycles, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement visually appealing merchandise displays that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Collaborate with the marketing team to create eye-catching window displays, in-store setups, and promotional materials. Regularly update displays to reflect seasonal trends, new arrivals, and special promotions. Maintain store aesthetics and ensure product presentation aligns with brand standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail environment. Strong knowledge of interior design principles and trends. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. Creative problem-solving skills and an eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
