Our vision for the future is to continue to seek premium brands while recognizing a need for value in the marketplace. We are seeking a manager to lead our independent retail division. Annual Salary – $100,000 – $110,000

Duties:

Train, manage, and develop staff, including but not limited to sales reps, product specialists, and merchandisers Provide ongoing product knowledge and customer service training to sales team members Use Encompass software to develop business plans and reports to help sales team members boost sales Develop and maintain positive relationships with wine and spirits suppliers Make recommendations to curate and expand selection of wines and spirits, taking into account customer preferences and market trends Collaborate with sales and merchandising team members to create visually appealing displays and marketing tools Plan and execute wine and spirits tastings, promotional events, and educational seminars to engage customers Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus three years of wholesaler / supplier experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Three years of management experience Strong knowledge of wine and spirits Occasional night and weekend availability Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
