Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager, East Coast & Caribbean Montblanc | Miami, FL Reports to: Director, Visual Merchandising Role Overview As Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager, East Coast & Caribbean you will be a key member of the Visual Merchandising Team for the Americas region. You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of Visual Merchandising in your area in line with Montblanc global guidelines. Reporting directly to the Director, Visual Merchandising & Brand Experience, you will build strong relationships with the internal & external Boutiques + Wholesale accounts to ensure the delivery of high standard Visual Merchandising across your region. You will be based in Miami, with frequent travel to the East Coast and the Caribbean region. Responsibilities Execute quarterly window installations + instore product launches for your Boutiques + WHS network, in line with the seasonal creative schemes, global VM category guidelines, regional buy and market direction. Create Boutique & Shop-In-Shops microzoning for each product launch, rotation guide and planograms. Ensure Boutiques Leather Walls are rotated every 4 weeks, and that the VM actions are reflective of the local business needs, including specific client groups, time of year, and product focus. Create visually strong and solution-led displays, aligned with the global VM strategy and with a consistently high standard of VM. Deliver VM training for store teams, including seasonal leather guide books, new starter inductions, and VM principles. Support with the delivery of projects for your region, including POSM planning for new store openings, events, pop-ups and market tradeshows. Collaborate with Merchandising & Regional Sales teams for seasonal novelty launches including rotation strategies and product priorities / focus on Leather key bets. Improve performance of products within the retail and wholesale division through effective partnerships that build on raising the standard of product visual presentation and guidance. Manage timely inventory, planning, implementation of core presentation materials to reflect current display/yearly decoration campaign elements. Coordinate the timely installation of seasonal and launch PLV/POSM, decoration materials and dismantle discontinued campaign programs to coincide with annual launch dates. Maintain Boutique/Wholesale accounts digital library to include photos of new window & instoredecorations, existing real estate and copies of PLV/POSM orders. Submit quarterly VM rotation calendar at beginning of each quarter and share monthly confirmed schedule for Boutique/Wholesale account visits due the first of month. Compile monthly VM visit photo reporting PPT at beginning of each month. Be flexible, agile, proactive, solutions-led and able to adapt quickly to the changing needs of the market in line with business growth. Qualifications Previous luxury retail experience within leather and accessories industry Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, spatial design, interior design, retail management, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years visual merchandising field experience required Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite & Digital Photography Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or other visual design tools Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail with exceptional organizational & planning skills Flexible, agile, hands-on / team player and able to work autonomously Proven track record coordinating, executing projects and training Manage personal travel/calendar and other expenses to an allocated budget Extensive travel requirements•traveling 75% of the week Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends (if required) Fluent in English and Spanis Richemont offers a generous compensation and benefits package for eligible employees.
