We are looking for a candidate who is a true self-starter, has a growth mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as a Senior Manager on the Merchandising Excellence Team. This role oversees the development and execution of market activation materials across all brands, geographies and channels in the USA and Canada. This person will partner with key internal and external stakeholders to translate brand plans into effective merchandising materials – stealable merch and retailtainment — that drive successful activation and ensure we meet the North American Operating Unit’s growth objectives. A successful candidate will leverage insights, influence decision-making with facts, work with cross-functional partners and bottling partners to drive scale, affordability, in-store engagement and basket incidence.

Position Overview:

This role oversees the development and execution of market activation materials across all brands, geographies and channels in the USA and Canada.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, agencies and suppliers to develop strategic merchandising solutions that deliver best-in-class execution, build brand equity, and drive the commercial picture of success (i.e., printed point of sale elements, displays, permanent racks, and premiums). Drive scalability and affordability by owning the partnerships with vendor suppliers. Understand the system’s commercial needs and priorities by channel. Provide subject matter expertise to suppliers and agencies to guide the creation of concepts through ideation, production, and in market activation. Ability to foster collaboration while driving complex decision making, working through differing points of view and maintaining resilience to deliver results. Leverage system scale to deliver savings, innovation, consistency, quality, and commercial execution excellence. Challenging the system to do more in the right places, emphasizing greater value and greater savings. Have a POV and align with CAMs early to influence subsidy allocation. Complete cost/benefit analysis of program elements against System objective and steward program results and provide post-program analysis. Effectively manage program timelines and budgets. Set up and administer programs in the Coke Catalog tool.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field

Related Work Experience:

Desired 5 years of work experience, ideally leading marketing activations across geographies in a complex, global environment Or similar experience in brand strategy and application across channels in local markets as well as key consumption occasions for various shopper personas

Functional Skills:

Influencing skills; Excellent written and oral communication Extremely high level of organization and self-starter Comfortable using data in post-program analysis as well as upstream to make decisions, influence stakeholders and challenge the system to do more when needed Ability to move rapidly in an often everchanging environment Strong project and program management skills
