Grocery Merchandising Manager Cairo IGA 110 2nd Ave SE, Cairo, GA 39828 Responsibilities for Merchandiser Ensure that stores, shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products Order, display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data Work and communicate with store management, suppliers, and distributors Qualifications Strong retail sales and customer service skills Proven leadership and communication abilities Experience in merchandising and pricing strategies Familiarity with inventory management and stocking procedures Knowledge of planograms and schematics Supervisory experience is a plus Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is advantageous Multilingual abilities are beneficial for customer engagement Summary As a Grocery Merchandiser for Management Training, you will be integral to enhancing the retail experience and driving sales within our grocery store. Reporting to the Store Manager, your role will focus on effective merchandising, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence. Utilizing your core skills in leadership and communication, you will train and develop team members while overseeing inventory management and stocking processes. Your premium skills in store management and visual design will aid in creating appealing product displays, ensuring a well-organized shopping environment that meets customer needs and boosts store performance.
