STORE MERCHANDISING MANAGER
for our Johnston Street store location. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Job Functions:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans that enhance each store’s layout and product displays.
- Analyze sales data and customer trends regarding product placement and inventory management.
- Ensure that product displays are organized, visually appealing and align with seasonal promotions and themes.
- Collaborate with the buying team to select merchandise to meet customer needs and maximize sales potential.
- Train and manage merchandising staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team.
- Conduct regular store walks to assess merchandising effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the company is competitive in the marketplace.
- Execute promotional signage and marketing materials effectively throughout the stores.
- Ascertain the stockrooms are clean and organized to facilitate efficient product retrieval.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in merchandising, retail management or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with sales data analysis are preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and keen eye for visual merchandising.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with retail software and inventory management systems.
- Required travel to multiple store locations several days per week.
