This positionrequires a deep understanding of merchandise planning, allocation,and inventory management, coupled with strong analytical andstrategic thinking skills. Develop and implement comprehensivemerchandise plans in alignment with the company’s overall businessstrategy Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying,marketing, and finance, to gather insights and incorporate theminto merchandise plans Analyze historical sales data, markettrends, and seasonal patterns to make informed decisions onassortment planning and inventory level Design and executeeffective merchandise allocation strategies to optimize inventorydistribution across stores and channels Monitor and adjustallocation plans based on real-time sales data, and market dynamicsMinimize stock-outs and overstocks by implementing efficientallocation practices Oversee inventory levels to meet sales targetswhile minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence Work closely withvendors and the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurateproduct deliveries Implement best practices for inventory turnoverand replenishment to maximize profitability Foster strongcollaboration with cross-functional teams, including merchandising,marketing, and operations, to align merchandise plans with overallbusiness goals Communicate regularly with leadership to provideupdates on merchandise performance, risks, and opportunities Leadand inspire a team of planning and allocation professionals,providing guidance and support for their professional developmentQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, orrelated field; and/or 6 years of related experience Provenexperience in merchandise planning, allocation, and inventorymanagement in a retail environment Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data andtrends to make informed decisions Excellent communication andleadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelyacross teams Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevanttools Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performingteam The pay range reflects the potential base salary range forthis role. Individual base pay is determined by various factorssuch as relevant experience and skills, and the scope andresponsibilities of the position. Pay Range $95,000 – $110,000
