Parts and Accessories Associate

State Highway 59, Gulf Shores, AL 36542 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Parts Department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations within our dealership environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Parts and accessories associates are responsible for ensuring customers have access to the correct products for their boating needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about delighting customers and achieving or exceeding their sales goals. Responsibilities Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately. Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service over the phone and in-person. Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels and assisting with restocking as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Help customers to identify the correct parts and accessories for their boats Ensure customers are informed about product features, compatibility and pricing Maintain inventory of parts and accessories to ensure accuracy, control shrinkage, and obsolescence. Maintain neat and orderly displays to present a professional appearance to help increase sales. Process customer orders accurately Maintain accurate records of orders and sales. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Stay informed about products and industry trends Support store in the execution of successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of marine parts, accessories, and equipment. Prior experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred. Proficiency in cash register operations and basic financial transactions. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with inventory control processes is an advantage. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
