- Greet customers as they enter the store. Determine what their need is and help them as needed. – Be familiar with the and the ability to look up both riding mower & push mower parts and other lawn equipment parts using various computer programs or the internet
- Process sales using the company business management system (Ideal) and collect cash or process credit cards as required. Ensure charge customers are authorized and appropriate signatures are collected.
- Process special orders as needed.
- Answer the phone and assist customers as needed.
- Call customers when parts on order are received.
Other job requirements:
Reliable transportation or other means of getting to shop and ability to be on time when your shift starts. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- This job requires a combination of standing and walking, and working in both a warehouse and office environment. Have excellent visual and auditory skills to be able to clearly communicate with customers. Ability to work 1- 2 Saturdays mornings (8-12) per month.’
- Assist with sales of new equipment if no sales person is present.
- Help keep showroom stocked, clean and safe for customers.
- Complete rental paperwork as needed.
