We are currently seeking a dedicated Appliance Support Specialist to join our team and ensure the efficient handling of appliance-related inquiries and services.
Job Description:
The Appliance Support Specialist will be responsible for managing daily appliance support operations, including responding to customer inquiries, processing repair quotes, scheduling part installations, and assisting various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication Management:
Monitor and respond to voicemails, emails, Teams messages, and task lists promptly. Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and technicians.
Quote Generation:
Prepare and provide customers with accurate repair or service quotes.
Coverage Confirmation:
Verify coverage details and confirm the amounts to be collected for work orders.
Payment Collection:
Contact customers to inform them of charges and collect payments. Update order statuses and proceed with part orders upon payment receipt.
Scheduling:
Schedule part installations following dispatch guidelines. Coordinate with dispatch to manage daily installation schedules effectively.
Customer Support:
Address appliance-related inquiries from customers. Assist the customer service team during peak call times.
Parts Management:
Close open vendor purchase orders as necessary.
Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned to support the appliance support department’s operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in using communication platforms (e.g., email, Teams) and task management tools. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in customer service or administrative roles is a plus. Bilingual abilities are a plus, as they can enhance customer service experiences and contribute to a diverse work environment.
