The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing parts inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall operations of our dealership. This position requires strong customer service skills, familiarity with inventory control systems, and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers. Responsibilities Manage parts inventory levels through effective demand planning and inventory control practices. Oversee daily operations of the parts store. Assist with minor data entry and organizational projects to support the dealership. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts inquiries and needs. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing for our customers. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely fulfillment of parts orders. Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels using BIT software. Assist in the training of new staff on parts management processes and systems. Qualifications Previous experience in a dealership or automotive parts environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of demand planning and inventory control principles. Comfortable with computers. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to negotiate prices and terms with vendors confidently. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
