Job Summary:
The Parts Department and Accessory Specialist is responsible for assisting customers, technicians, and the sales team with sourcing, ordering, and selling genuine Toyota parts and accessories. This role requires strong organizational skills, automotive knowledge, and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and sourcing genuine Toyota parts and accessories. Process parts orders, including inventory checks, special orders, and returns. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stocking of parts and accessories. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on Toyota accessories to enhance vehicle performance and aesthetics. Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs and maintenance. Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and courtesy. Stay updated on Toyota parts, accessories, and product changes through training and resources. Ensure the parts department is organized, clean, and compliant with dealership standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive or related field is a plus. Previous experience in an automotive parts department or retail environment preferred. Knowledge of Toyota vehicles, parts, and accessories is an asset. Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, ADP, or similar). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
