AC Parts & Claims Coordinator 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars

Winter Park, FL Job Summary:

The AC Parts & Claims Coordinator will Coordinate the ordering and receiving of parts, and processing warrantee Claims.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Monitor Vendor Web Sites for communication of parts orders & warranty claims. Submit claims on Vendor Web Sites for jobs that are completed and have warranty parts replaced. Update Sage jobs in BOLT with warranty Claim Numbers, Purchase Order Numbers, vendor supplied Order numbers & notes. Order parts and request materials as needed per the job request of service coordinators, supervisors & technicians. Assist with the retail team of verifying & ordering equipment for retail jobs. Tracking down parts shipped & advising service coordinators of ETAs, back orders, and equipment warranty verification. Coordinating with the sales team on what equipment is available and time frame to obtain equipment. Coordinating with warehouse & purchasing in the event parts and or equipment needing to be picked up. Advising customers & builders of ETA of parts and or scheduling time frame.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment. Extensive knowledge of machining and machining processes. Ability to read blueprints. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of experience as a quality control inspector preferred. Proven administrative & customer service experience.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to traverse production facility to conduct inspection. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
