Parts & Service Representative Position Available In Orange, Florida

Job Description:

Purpose:

Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery ofparts, attachments and accessories. Assist the Aftermarket Managerin maintain accurate, timely reports, work orders and recordsrelative to the parts and service department’s daily operation. Inaddition, performs in-store customer service, overallorganizational promotion, and stocking duties.

Responsibilities:

Look up and ordering of Parts for John Deereequipment using JDPOINT ordering system & PMPRO catalog system Lookup and ordering of Parts for Other Vendors using their websitecatalogs Sells & orders parts required to fill customer needs usingPFW business system Promotes and sells products and/or services tomeet customer needs Supplies Service Technicians with parts asrequired Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyFollows up on shortages in inventory and expedites issues byreporting to the manager Fields internal and external customerinquiries to the Service Department Opens work orders as directedby the Aftermarket Manager/Lead or Shop Foreman and maintainscontrol until they are closed and invoiced Maintains daily andreports all backorders on workorders to service manager. MaintainsService Department and Parts Department filing and recordsMaintaining a positive attitude while preforming daily task. CreateDPAC cases when needed to secure parts on work orders. Maintainsaccessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders Check inmachine down parts for service department. Secure parts for workorders and deliver them to the technician’s work area. Return partsoff workorders in a timely manner so the job can be closed out forinvoicing. Perform other related duties assigned by Managers.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

Basic dataentry/keyboarding skills Basic machinery knowledge Ability to usethe JD Pathways /John Deere Parts Catalog computer application andVendor Websites for parts look up and ordering. Ability to learnPFW business system for invoicing, receipting and ordering partsfor customers Ability to work in a team environment Ability to liftitems weighing up to 75 lbs. High School diploma or equivalentexperience Fork lift license required
