Parts and Service Manager Northeast Marine Clearwater, FL 33762 Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Manager to oversee our parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Marine service and possess excellent organizational skills. As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and ensuring efficient logistics to support our service operations. Take in Service Appointments and coordinate parts. Your expertise in demand planning and mechanical knowledge will be crucial in maintaining optimal stock levels and providing exceptional support to our technicians. Responsibilities Manage the parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts to ensure availability for service operations. Utilize demand planning techniques to forecast parts needs based on service schedules and historical data. Oversee shipping and receiving processes to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely delivery of parts. Collaborate with service technicians to identify required parts for repairs and diagnostics. Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking parts usage and inventory levels. Source quality automotive parts from reliable suppliers while negotiating favorable terms. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the parts department. Provide training and support to staff regarding parts management processes and best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive service or a related field, with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and equipment repair. Demonstrated skills in demand planning, logistics, sourcing, and inventory management. Mechanical knowledge is essential for effective communication with technicians regarding part specifications. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
