The Parts Room Clerk is responsible for the accurate organization, tracking, and distribution of inventory within the Inventory Management Cage. The position supports the production staff by providing them with the necessary parts and cores to complete their work, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform accurate data entry into a company computer system. Stock inbound parts in allocated bins or shelves. Receive, count separate products as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace and inventory management cage. Assist in preparing products for production and inventories. Conduct daily or weekly cycle counts and inventories. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance Inventory Management efficiency. Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

Basic computer proficiency, including data entry. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to operate a pallet jack. Have interpersonal skills to deal efficiently with all business contacts. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal. Follow the directions of team leadership. Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED or a suitable combination of education and experience. 6 months’ experience in shipping, receiving or inventory control preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight

Work Environment:

Primarily warehouse-based with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Must adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE as required.
