We accomplish our goals through the predictive, corrective and preventative maintenance program we implement in their facilities.

Job Overview:

The Parts Coordinator/Planner plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency of the facility’s maintenance team. This position is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and organization of maintenance parts and supplies, while also serving as the CMMS owner and point of contact for outside contractors. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

Conducts routine parts cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and readiness Identify and label all facility and maintenance equipment Primary CMMS administrator (computerized maintenance management software) Manages Work Order process flow, assists in the development of new PMs as needed, and ensures Work Order records are current Responsible for purchasing all parts for the maintenance department Catalog and organize all spare parts based on criticality Maintain secure parts issue procedures implementing sign-out procedures Set and manage parts minimum, maximum, and re-order points based on data analysis Point of contact for all outside contractors and vendors Ability to make suggestions and informed decisions quickly Reports to: Director of Maintenance Ensure a safe working environment adhering to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and procedures Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1 or more years of experience in distribution or related field Prior CMMS experience (Required) Demonstrated Organization skills with Inventory or Parts Coordination experience Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload Above average computer skills, especially in Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills Forklift operating experience or certification preferred Additional hours may be required during October, November, and December and other peak periods

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and reach for extended periods in an industrial setting. May require working at heights of 8 feet or greater May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs Regularly required to use hands and arms to handle parts, tools, equipment, or documentation. Must be able to ascend and descend stairs and ladders to access elevated platforms or equipment areas. Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection as required Must have the ability to inspect parts and read digital screens and printed labels visually Ability to hear alarms, radio communication, and verbal instructions in a loud industrial environmen
