Benefits Affordable employee health Insurance (medical, dental, vision) 401K with company match Paid holiday and vacation Commission programs Summary Serve as an account manager for existing and prospective customers by managing relationships and ensuring a high level of dealer support for a diverse range of customer types. Essential Duties Visits assigned customers. Conduct daily sales calls Prospects for new customers. Identify new business opportunities within current customer list and solicitation of new accounts. Communicate parts orders to counter staff to ensure the proper level of order urgency and delivery instructions. Checks with customers to ensure that delivery date of non-stock items is acceptable before ordering. Deliver or pick up parts as needed Reviews any special orders with the parts manager and obtains his/her approval. Work with parts management to negotiate and manage customer discounts. Advises counterperson on delivery instructions. Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly. Participates in weekly service sales with service salespeople. Turns in completed call reports and expense reports to management. Regularly updates customer records to reflect changes to customers’ names, addresses etc. Adds new customers to appropriate mailing lists. Attends training seminars and local customer events when possible. Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership. Maintains professional appearance. Track personal sales growth and goal achievement. Participate in weekly sales calls. Actively dispatch monthly marketing material and sales promotions. Coordinate service work with service support staff. Promoting awareness of sales opportunities across all departments. Other tasks as assigned. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. PrioAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
