Positionoverview:
Parts Business Operations is a core profitability,customer satisfaction and dealer efficiency driver for Client andits network of authorized dealer franchise partners. Keyresponsibilities include supply chain management, genuine partssales, dealer partner support and communication management for theparts business in the US market. This center of competencyfacilitates the flow of genuine parts to authorized dealers, whosell to retail customers, independent repair facilities, andcollision repair facilities. Parts Operations seeks a contractor tohelp manage a rapidly growing parts operation that serves a growingfleet of vehicles operating on US roadways. This person must beself-motivated, capable of operating independently, and willing tobe flexible in the handling of priority parts projects that maychange on a daily basis. As a support function to a team ofexisting Parts Support Specialists, this person will supportdealers on parts order specifying and supply chain related topics.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for special projects,and administrative tasks necessary to keep the supply chain runningto dealers. This includes but is not limited to the following;management of dealers’ parts transactions, ETA’s has and ordermanagement.
Primary responsibilities:
Own the dealer supportprocess for your area of responsibility – manage to dealerinquiries and tickets in a timely manner, providing a high level ofservice to Dealer partners. Topics include but are not limited to:
Parts availability, parts shipment ETAs, parts ordering,collaboration with parts warehouse colleagues, priority ordermanagement (VOR), damage claims, process guidance etc. Processparts trades between dealers, properly exchanging parts andperforming financial reconciliation. Manage dealer support ticketsto a high level of service, reasonable time to close withresolution to dealer partner, supporting customer satisfaction.
Managing escalation with clear and timely communication with theappropriate parties at Client, as needed to resolve. Administerinbound parts supply and ensure proper allocation to dealers, forcampaigns and recalls requiring parts Manage special parts returns(parts withdrawals) from dealers and warehouses to ensure that allaffected parts ship as directed within the process and timeline foreach campaign. Manage to relevant KPI’s specific to partsoperations and parts operations support responsibilities, ensuringhigh level of service and accountability. Perform special projectsas needed. Reporting and ad hoc analysis as needed. Flexible tomarket needs with a high degree of curiosity, always looking toimprove process, workflow, which lead to a high level of service toour franchise dealer partners.
Qualifications Education:
Collegedegree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, and Data Analytics,or the equivalent education and experience
Experience:
Looking forrecent college grad w/ professional and analytical skills to workin an office environment.
