Parts Coordinator – Atlanta, GA 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 190 Westridge Industrial Boulevard, McDonough, GA 30253 Parts Coordinator – Atlanta, GA Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and television studios and is looking for a full-time Parts Coordinator to join our Atlanta Fleet Service team! This position will be responsible for inventory management and material purchasing for the facility. The ideal candidate must be safety minded with exceptional customer service skills.
What You’ll Do:
Accurately and efficiently manage inventory of parts and equipment to service our fleet of trucks and trailers utilizing effective inventory management practices. Create and submit purchase orders for warehouse inventory. Deliver and pick-up material for warehouse stock and custom order items for trailers Assign parts and materials to work orders. Receive items from vendors and add items to the correct warehouse location and in our inventory management programs. Perform periodic inventory cycle counts. Work effectively as a member of a team and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, suppliers, customers. Assist in general housekeeping of warehouse and display area. Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment (forklift) to load, unload, or put away equipment. Always maintain a clean work area. Complete all tasks in a safe manner. All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
2+ years of relevant experience preferred (i.e. inventory management, auto parts store, warehousing). Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed. Experience operating material handling equipment. Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with Company policies and procedures. Ability to provide a pro-active approach to project completion and warehouse needs. Ability to anticipate needs and multi- task in a high-volume environment. Must be reliable, professional and possess good judgment. Must have strong interpersonal skills and effective, clear communication skills. Must be well organized and detail orientated. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company’s insurance carrier. Compensation:
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is between $19.60 – $22.60 per hour. The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment.
