Duration:
6-month contract We are seeking a Maintenance Planner & Parts Coordinator to support our fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This hybrid role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability , and keeping our plant running smoothly by coordinating maintenance schedules and managing critical spare parts inventory.
What You’ll Do:
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Plan preventive maintenance using CMMS and coordinate with the maintenance team. Generate work orders and ensure labor, tools, and materials are aligned to each task. Respond to urgent breakdowns and adjust schedules accordingly. Track performance metrics to improve equipment reliability and plant uptime. Parts Coordination & Inventory Maintain accurate parts inventory in CMMS or ERP systems (e.g., Leading2Lean). Receive, label, organize, and issue tools and spare parts. Conduct cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and reorder stock as needed. Optimize inventory levels, minimize downtime, and support maintenance cost control.
What You’ll Bring:
3+ years of maintenance planning or parts inventory experience in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency with
CMMS , ERP
, or MRP systems . Strong organizational skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking ability. Knowledge of equipment like motors, pumps, PLCs, and conveyors. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and digital reporting tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in food production or a regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with GMPs , OSHA safety standards , or SQF guidelines . Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Understanding of preventive maintenance KPIs and root cause analysis.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, move between production floor and office, and work in varying temperature zones.
