Automotive Parts Counterperson Sunset Ford St. Louis 11700 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63127 We’re seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team at Sunset Ford in St. Louis. Look up and determine correct parts needed for a particular job Bill out parts Invoice & close parts tickets Consult with customer/mechanic on applicable parts and recommended/required parts for the intended repair (gaskets, fluids, nuts, bolts, etc.) Keep customer/mechanic informed on part arrival times/shipping status and possible changes Provide concierge/receptionist support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to assure the customer has a positive service experience Build strong relationships with the customers Understand and implement Ford Warranty Processes designated by management Qualifications Parts Counter Selling Experience Required (NAPA, AutoZone, etc.) Valid Driver’s license and clean background Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong written and oral communication skills Strong computer skills – quick & accurate typing Must be able to read, process and create shop estimates Professional phone skills with ability to manage multiple calls at a time General understanding of automotive workings and repairs About Us Sunset Ford has been in business for over 100 years, established back in 1912 by Peter S.
