We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Kit Builder / Parts Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling welding kits according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in the process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial parts, the ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble welding kits independently following engineering drawings and specifications. Inspect materials and components for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure the timely availability of materials. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, assisting in reordering parts as needed. Provide guidance and support to entry-level weld kit builders, ensuring proper processes and techniques are followed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Identify and report any discrepancies in materials or documentation. Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve any kit-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team. Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or welding-related environment preferred. Basic inventory management experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and team members. Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced production environment with exposure to industrial materials. May require standing for long periods and lifting up to 90 lbs.
