As the Inventory Control Clerk, your main function is to assure proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions. Duties and responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory count of all parts Maintain accurate inventory counts for specific customers as directed Verify inventory quantity, location, and accuracy Determine quality issues resulting from storage Assist in troubleshooting inventory discrepancies Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor Serves as back-up for parts inventory functions. Updates electronic parts files. Compiles stock control reports such as consumption rate and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Review files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock. Ensures that credits are received for returned parts. Returns parts as needed and removes from inventory after credit is received. Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory. Assists in annual parts returns. Assists parts counter associates when possible. Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered. Maintains professional appearance. Qualifications Minimum of High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Good written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Skilled in the operation of variety of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle sensitive date and multi-task so that deadlines can be met. Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check.
