Auto Parts Counter Sales Representative Van Wickle Auto Supply – Napa (part of Genuine Parts Company) Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with automotive parts and services. Your expertise in automotive repair and dealership operations will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their automotive needs. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on parts and services based on customer inquiries. Process orders efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Manage order fulfillment accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain work areas to enhance the customer experience. Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery. Stay updated on automotive products, services, and industry trends. Skills Five years experience in automotive repair and service processes. Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management. Familiarity with inventory management systems and POS technology is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
