Parts Apprentice (Entry Level)•Watertown, NY 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Watertown, NY 13601 Davidson Collision Center is looking for someone interested in learning the world of parts! Pay Range:
$17•18/hr., (based on experience)
Hours:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM, Monday•
Friday Responsibilities:
Receiving in parts and stocking bins / shelves correctly. Preparing orders for customers. Dispatching parts to the Auto Techs within the Service department. Mirror Matching parts upon receipt Learning and participating in inventory management. Training for the Parts Consultant role. Organizing the parts room as needed. Travel between other Davidson locations and vendors may be required. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Skills:
Have an interest in learning the automotive and parts industry. Have a positive attitude. Be a problem solving multi-tasker. Be able to work well in a team environment. Have strong communication skills. Be comfortable and proficient with technology and learning new systems. Be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to lift at least 80 lbs. Must be able to climb stairs throughout shift. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid / clean driver’s license.
Preferred Skills:
Previous automotive or parts experience. Prior experience in sales, retail, customer service, or administrative.
