Must be enrolled in an Automotive Vocational School We are seeking a motivated and dependable Automotive Garage Helper to support our technician and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within our garage. This full-time position is ideal for students currently enrolled in an automotive vocational program who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist mechanics with basic tasks such as handing tools, removing tires, and supporting with part installation Clean and organize the shop, including tools, parts, equipment, and work areas Safely dispose of used oil, fluids, filters, and other automotive waste Move, park, and retrieve shop vehicles within the facility Pick up supplies or deliver parts as needed Order parts and materials upon request Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and automotive parts Restock and organize parts as deliveries arrive Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or mechanics

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic knowledge of car parts and tools is a plus Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor Computer skills Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well Interest in automotive repair or a willingness to learn

Work Environment:

Work is performed in an active garage setting Exposure to loud noises, machinery, oils, and various automotive fluids Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces for extended periods
