Position Overview:
As a Parts Room Clerk at Holbrook Heating,you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technicians havethe necessary materials to provide exceptional service. In additionto receiving and organizing incoming parts, you will also assist indistributing parts to our team. Your attention to detail andorganizational skills will be instrumental in maintaining anefficient parts room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, andaccurately record incoming parts and materials.
- Verify quantitiesand quality of received items, reporting any discrepancies.
- Label, tag, and properly store parts in designated locations withinthe parts room.
- Assist in the distribution of parts to the HVACteam.
- Maintain an organized and clean parts room environment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing orders for internal departments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regardingany shipment or inventory-related issues.
- Generate reports oninventory levels, usage, and re-order points.
Requirements:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- You must be 21 years of age orolder to apply for this position with Holbrook Heating
- ValidDriver’s License
- Monday
- Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Provenexperience in a similar role, preferably in a residential HVACcompany.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Proficiency in usinginventory management software or tools.
- Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC parts andequipment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
