Job Summary:

Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of walk-in customers and visitors. Responsibilities we’ll trust you with: Serve as a first point of contact for walk-in visitors and customers. Promptly answer phones in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner Manage all counter activities such as answering inbound calls and following up with customers by phone as needed. Take purchase orders by phone, in-person, or email and enter them into the system. Assist in inventory management in the showroom. Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to provide timely service to customers. Forward new opportunities to the appropriate sales team for further development and closing. As needed, using a forklift to assist customers with loading and unloading their trucks. Perform other duties as assigned. Your area of knowledge and expertise: Preferred qualifications: High school diploma or GED Minimum 1-3 years of counter sales experience with a lumber yard or similar business Proven ability to provide consistent, professional customer service.
