Maintenance Supply Coordinator 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Lancaster, SC 29720 Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a Supply and Maintenance Coordinator in our Lancaster, SC plant. As a Supply and Maintenance Coordinator you’ll be part of a dedicated team that’s committed to making the best utility structures in the world. You will be responsible for maintaining the organization, inventory, and distribution of tools and equipment, supporting administrative functions within the maintenance department, and assisting with receiving incoming shipments. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment readiness, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination between departments. Schedule – Monday through Friday 7am-3pm with occasional overtime as needed

What You’ll Do:

Issue, receive, and track tools and equipment used by maintenance and production teams. Maintain accurate inventory of all tools, spare parts, and consumables in the tool room. Coordinate tool repairs, replacements, and calibrations as needed. Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient tool room environment. Assist in data entry and updating of work orders. Support reporting needs including metrics tracking, maintenance logs, and purchase requests. Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure timely completion of tasks. Assist with documentation of SOPs. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders. Coordinate delivery of received items to appropriate departments or storage areas. Maintain accurate receiving records and enter data into inventory systems. Communicate with purchasing and vendors regarding discrepancies or damages. Help organize and manage inventory storage areas to ensure efficiency and compliance.

What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or warehouse setting preferred. Familiarity with tools, parts, and maintenance processes. Basic computer skills; experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) a plus. Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities. High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy. Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk through an industrial manufacturing environment while adhering to all required PPE (personal protective equipment) standards.
