In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers in person and over the phone, providing exceptional service and support in the appliance parts industry. You will assist customers with their inquiries, research for appropriately needed parts, process orders, and contribute to a positive shopping experience while ensuring that our inventory is well-managed and organized. Responsibilities Open and close the store. Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone and assist them in locating correct appliance parts through research of customer provided model numbers. Occasionally matching parts to the customers part they provide.. Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely fulfillment. Assist in maintaining an organized inventory system, including stock management and replenishment. Communicate effectively with customers regarding product availability, pricing, and specifications. Utilize Excel for tracking orders and managing inventory data. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation at the counter. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns professionally. Requirements Knowledge of the use of computers and the internet. Ability to use a web based inventory and point of sale system Possess organizational skills. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes in a retail or service environment. Knowledge of inventory management practices is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards learning about appliance parts and basic appliance information.
